SigmaRoc appoints Former Breedon CEO to its board of directors
[London:UK ; April 15th] Tim Hall, former CEO of Breedon South, will join SigmaRoc’s board of directors as a non-executive director on 16 April this year. Tim helped build Breedon into a billion pound business and one of the UK’s major suppliers of heavy construction materials, through rapid growth and the successful execution of a buy and build strategy.
Tim’s board appointment comes at a time of significant growth and development for SigmaRoc. The company recently acquired a 40% stake in Gerald D. Harries (GDH) with an option to buy the remainder of the business by August 2020. This acquisition set the cornerstone for SigmaRoc’s activity in the South-West region of the UK. This was preceded by another significant acquisition of Cheshire Concrete Products in the Manchester and Liverpool area.
David Barrett, SigmaRoc’s Chairman commented - “I would like to welcome Tim to the board of the Company. Tim joins us at a great time in our evolution having just closed a significant transaction. The group is now in a great position to benefit from Tim’s access and knowledge as one of the industry’s foremost executives.”
Max Vermorken, SigmaRoc’s CEO added - “Tim joining the board is a great next step for us. As a small team we all contribute to the evolution of our business and adding Tim to that mix will most certainly accelerate our development even further.”
